Legal Insight Workshop (15th November 2025)

Posted on November 15, 2025

One of the most insightful workshops organized by WOSITA FOUNDATION was held at Docklands Amphitheater with a good number of members and followers in attendance. The “legal insight workshop” was held in collaboration with local prominent lawyers Mrs. Priscille Chetty Mr. Frank Ally and Mr. Basil Hoareau. Following the introduction from our MC, Ms. Thirah Ah-Kong the legal representative for WOSITA, Mrs. Chetty led the conversation with “Love, Law, and the Fine point of breaking up”. This session delivered with loads of humor made an otherwise painful topic easier to swallow. Next, she took her audience deeper into “Consequences and Legal implications after the breakdown of a relationship” and Mr. Frank Ally sent the message home with his presentation on “Understanding Wills, Succession, Legal Heirs and their Rights, and the role of the Executor.”
Key take away – Make a Will and not a Wish ! 📖📜
The workshop reiterated that marriage or any domestic relationship requires commitment, trust and hard work. It was heart warming to see some brave gentlemen in the audience.

WOSITA remains committed with its mission to empower women and girls on issues of concern 💜🩷
